On World Oceans Day Theo Clarke MP re-elected as Co-Chair of conservation group in Parliament

World Oceans Day

Theo Clarke MP for Stafford was pleased to be re-elected as the Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for International Conservation. During the meeting, which was held on World Oceans Day, Ms Clarke discussed the Commonwealth Blue Charter.  The Commonwealth Blue Charter is an agreement by all 54 Commonwealth countries to actively cooperate to solve ocean-related challenges and meet commitments for sustainable ocean action. The Rwandan Environment Minister, Mujawamariya Jeanne d'Arc, also updated Parliamentarians on the environment plans for the 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda. Ms Clarke will continue to work to ensure that waterways are protected and clean in Staffordshire and across the world.
