I'm honoured to win Political Speech of the Year for the second time! Thank you to everyone who has supported my national cross-party campaign on birth trauma. I'd like to thank my current inquiry co-Chair, Rosie Duffield MP, and the Birth Trauma Association. Well done to the other winners - including the Foreign Secretary, Rt. Hon. The Lord Cameron, and the Shadow Health Secretary, the Hon. Wes Streeting MP. I also want to acknowledge the other nominees in this category: Rt. Hon. Suella Braverman MP KC, Rt. Hon. Rachel Reeves MP, Rt. Hon. The Lord Coaker, Layla Moran MP and Keir Mather MP. The calibre of speeches in Parliament is incredibly high, and everyone should be proud to have been nominated.

I dedicate this award to all mums who have suffered a difficult birth, like my own, and I will continue to campaign for change to improve after care for all mums in this country.
