Stafford MP Theo Clarke is delighted to announce that her speech about her traumatic birth experience is a finalist for the 'Political Speech of the Year' Award, by Pagefield Parliamentarian Awards with Dods. This recognition is testament to the importance of tackling birth trauma. I dedicate this nomination to all the mums who have bravely shared their stories with me and this fight will continue.
The winner of the award will be determined by a combined scoring system, with 50% of the vote based on the public’s choice and the remaining 50% decided by an independent panel of leading political journalists. The winners will be announced during the Pagefield Parliamentarian Awards reception on 23rd April.
