Theo Clarke MP welcomes Chancellor's extension of support schemes for employed and self employed until March 2021

Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

In a statement in the House of Commons today, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, announced a number of measures designed to provide people with support during the coronavirus pandemic. 

These measures include an announcement to extend the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme until March 2021 and the third Self-Employment Income Support Scheme has been increased to 80 per cent of average trading profits up to a maximum of £7,500. 

Ms Clarke welcomes the extension of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme and will continue to press for help for everyone impacted by coronavirus in her Stafford constituency.
