Theo Clarke launches Global Birth Trauma Alliance

Ms Clarke is delighted to announce the launch of her Global Birth Trauma Alliance.

Ms Clarke stated: "Today I am launching the new Global Birth Trauma Alliance to campaign for change to improve maternity care in the UK and around the world. We need a #MeToo movement for birth trauma. I call on the new Labour Government to implement in full the recommendations of the cross party Birth Trauma Inquiry report and I look forward to hearing formally from the Health Secretary and my request to meet."

Birth Trauma

Birth trauma sadly affects far too many women and children - myself amongst them. This is why, after the traumatic birth of my daughter in 2022, I set up the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Birth Trauma on the 12th of July 2023.
