Urgent passport applications
You may be able to get a passport sooner if you apply for an urgent passport. There are two systems to apply for an urgent passport, online premium and 1 week Fast Track. Urgent travel for compassionate reasons
HM Passport Office advises that if a person needs a passport to travel urgently for medical treatment or because a friend or family member is seriously ill or has died that the person should call the Passport Adviceline.

What enquiries can Theo Clarke MP's office assist with?
HM Passport Office are only accepting and escalating enquiries from MP’s offices for the following types of applications:
- those for urgent travel for compelling and compassionate reasons
- those for non-urgent travel where the application date was 10 weeks or more ago i.e. outside of their recommended 10 week processing time.
