Theo was delighted to be joined by former Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson on her campaign trail today.
Theo and Boris spent a wonderful morning at the Nirman Sewak Jatha Gurdwara and on the doorstep talking to voters about the upcoming election. It was wonderful to see lots of voters out showing their support to Theo by offering to lend her their vote this because of how important Bristol East is in determining whether Theresa May or Jeremy Corbyn is Prime Minister (Bristol East is the most marginal constituency in Bristol).
Theo and Boris also spoke about plans to improve transport and infrastructure in the constituency. Mr. Johnson endorsed Theo's campaign to become the next Conservative MP for Bristol East and said that she was ' a fantastic candidate for this seat' as she also understood 'the vital importance of transport to improve the lives of all her constituents and help the economic growth in this area'. See the full conversation between Theo and Boris here.
As Theresa May's candidate, Theo needs to win in Bristol East to stop Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister, propped up by the SNP.
