Investing in our young people

Our young people are our future. As a young mother I am keenly aware of the need for high-quality education for our young people. This is why I have campaigned assiduously over the past five years for central government to invest in Stafford education. This Conservative Government delivered: £13 million of new investment for the transformation of Stafford College into an Institute of Technology. Early in 2024, I was delighted to be made a Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department of Education. This provided the opportunity to work inside the Department to create a better education system for young people in Stafford and the wider country.

If re-elected, I will continue to campaign for greater investment into facilities for our young people.
